Settings

You can copy settings from one site to another in a multisite environment.  However, it’s important to consider that if the other website has settings configured the process will overwrite them. By using this process you are copying almost the entire configuration of the current settings to the new site.

  1. In the Sitefinity Backend select the site you want to copy from the settings.
  2. Navigate to SmarterCommerce -> Configuration/ Settings.

3. In the Settings view, click the “Copy Settings” button next to the “SmarterCommerce Settings” title.

Note: The "Copy Settings” option only appears if the Sitefinity is multisite.

4. The modal window displays the all available sites. Select a website or a list of websites by clicking the square field next to the name. If you want to select all the available websites just one click in the square field next to “Websites” is required, or you can select all by picking them individually.

5. Click the “Done” button.

6. A process that copies the settings from one website to another initiates. This process copies almost all the settings available, the only settings that are not copied are the following:

Elastic Index Name

App Search Engine Name

App Search Language

Non ERP Product Next Number

Store Id

Display Product Number

7. A message should appear when the process ends. Indicating the result of the process.
